I’m a snacker. I love food and I would snack alllll day long rather than eating a meal.
It works better for me and for us as a busy family. So below, check out what we do for snacks!
Date Bites
1 cup Medjool Dates
1 cup Almonds
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
That is the base recipe for all date bites.
Here are a few variations:
1 cup Almonds
1 cup Dates
1/2 cup Dark chocolate
1 tbsp Peanut butter
6 Dates
1 cup Pecans/walnuts
1 tsp Cocoa
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Almonds
6 Dates
1/3 cup Coconut
1 Tbsp Coconut oil
1 Tbsp water
Throw ingredients into a food processor and mix until well combined. Roll into 1” balls and store in the refrigerato. They’re good in an air tight container for two weeks.

Apple Nachos
Slice some apples and add toppings! Here I have peanut butter, granola, and pumpkin seeds.
I’ve also just had apple slices with cinnamon sprinkled on them.
*cinnamon is a great spice, it helps balance blood sugar levels, it’s anti inflammatory and tastes delicious!

Roasted Chickpeas
1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt
Pepper to taste
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Be sure too keep a close eye on them and toss at least once while baking. They burn quickly! Cook until golden brown and crunchy.
